Topic: AI in Cyber Security: Harnessing the Power, Navigating the Risks
Dr. Solahuddin has been working as a cyber security professional for more than 20 years. He joined CyberSecurity Malaysia in 2002 and has been working in a wide variety of cybersecurity areas. With his knowledge, experience and skills in various cyber security domains he is now entrusted to be CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Topic: Next Gen SOC: Autonomous Investigation & Automation
Dr. Saiyid brings 15 years of experience of the cybersecurity industry from various practice domains, including consulting, network security, endpoint security, cloud security, application & data security and cybersecurity risk management. His experience also includes security architecture, project management, product development and product management.
At TM One he is currently leading the product development and management of cybersecurity product portfolios since Feb 2022. Cybersecurity services product development coverage is from professional services to managed security services.
Prior to TM ONE, Dr. Saiyid was with Orange Business Services (OBS) as a Solutions Manager / Enterprise Security Architect. During his tenure with OBS, he has been involved in various projects that required cybersecurity solution design in the government and private sectors with value of opportunities around the range of Euro 1 million to 5 million Euro.
Dr. Saiyid holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Universiti Teknologi MARA, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies (Majoring in Information System Management), a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management.

Topic: Threat Intelligence beyond IOC’s
Su Gim is one of the leading Strategic Solutions Architects in the Asia Pacific region for Mandiant. He serves as the subject matter expert in the field of Cyber Threat Intelligence involving the government sector, large enterprises in the private sector across multiple verticals such as the financial institution, telcos, energy, and utilities. Su Gim has more than 25 years of IT Security experience working for several companies in the USA, Malaysia and Singapore in the area of threat insights for malware detection, IT security consulting, IT security system integration and running a 24/7 security operations center.
Prior to joining Mandiant, Su Gim had served several roles such as the Cyber Defense Consultant in Asia Pacific for BAE Systems (defence contractor) and the Security Advisor who represented F-Secure in the Asia Pacific region and lead the Malware Response Labs in KL, where he was actively involved in activities to raise public awareness of the IT threat landscape, giving talks in conferences on the latest threat vectors and attack techniques. As an evangelist, he also responded to the media as the spokesperson on the latest global virus outbreaks and trends.

Ruevitzwan Isa (Rue) is a Regional Cybersecurity Specialist with over 16 years of Cybersecurity experience in consulting, designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions for diverse companies and organizations in various industries. He specializes in a myriad of security domains, including Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Identity Protection, Data Protection, etc. He is both CISSP and CCSK certified.

Topic: Using Artificial Intelligence for Security Awareness Training
Ilyas consults for InternetNow’s largest clients including companies such as Malaysia Airlines, Telekom Malaysia, Media Prima as Perodua. His expertise is in the area of email security (including email fraud), data security, firewall and security awareness training.
He started his career as a Technical Lead of the online unit of Microsoft Malaysia, MSN, in 1999. In 2001, he joined InternetNow as Software Developer and started developing software products in the area of Internet Security and email communications. Over the next 22 years, he has served in many different roles in the company, developing a strong knowledge in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship.
He has appeared on numerous media as subject matter expert including on Astro news channel, Awani.
As community service, he also served as an Industry Advisor for IT programmes at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Tan Wee Teck is the Systems Engineer with Fortinet Malaysia – responsible as a Subject Matter Expert for the channel business. He works closely with business partners in delivering the Fortinet technology and solutions suite to customers across industries.
Having spent almost a decade as an Information Security Professional covering security consulting, Wee Teck has a wealth of knowledge in Infrastructure and Information Security. He is well experienced in reviewing security architecture, developing mitigation strategies, threat response and helping clients realize their strategic business goals.
Prior to Fortinet, Wee Teck was the Technical Account Manager in Bluecoat/Symantec. He has worked with clients from large multinational corporations across a multitude of Service Providers in the APAC region. Wee Teck has successfully delivered consulting and security systems designs to ensure services availability to mitigate malware and data leakage with Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
Wee Teck holds a Masters degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Greenwich.

He has in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Security, Data Protection, IT service management and IT resource management, and has served customers from various industries ranging from oil & gas, FSI, education, government, and telecommunications.

Topic: Navigating Legal Complexities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Ryanlee Mesias is a Philippine lawyer currently serving as a Legal Consultant at I.C.T. Davao, Inc. (IDI), where he plays a pivotal role in representing the information technology and business process management sector, advocating for over 70,000 workers. As a Senior Legal Associate at Matunog & Associates in Davao City, Philippines, he specializes in handling cybercrimes and cases related to data privacy and protection. His proficiency in these critical areas ensures legal compliance and safeguards the interests of clients. As a Law Professor at Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc., he imparts invaluable knowledge in copyright and intellectual property law. Furthermore, within the College of Business at the same institution, he shares his expertise in regulatory frameworks and legal matters pertinent to business operations. As the Executive Director of the Davao Intellectual Property Society (DIPS), he advances intellectual property awareness and expertise, elevating the capabilities of IP law practitioners in Davao City. Ryanlee Mesias embodies a multifaceted legal professional, contributing significantly to the legal landscape through consultancy, education, and advocacy, exemplifying his commitment to advancing legal knowledge and practice.

Topic: Collective Cyber Defence - A collaborative approach to detect threats, exchange intelligence and stop attacks together
Victor Ching is heading up the Product Management Team for Tecforte, an award-winning ICT company with years of extensive and successful ICT project implementations within the Asian region.
Victor joined Tecforte in 2013, where he was immediately appointed as one of the Lead Consultants for the design and setup of Malaysia’s National Cybersecurity Coordination and Command Centre (2014 - 2016). He has been instrumental to Tecforte’s rapid emergence as an IT Security powerhouse.
He also plays the lead role in regional implementation and consultancy in some of the large and complex IT initiatives. Some of the project engagements include the design and setup of National Cybersecurity Coordinationand Command Centre for the Malaysian government, Kuala Lumpur 2017 SEA Games, 1GovNet, Putrajaya Campus Network, as well as the top banks and utility companies in the region to name a few.
Prior to Tecforte, he was with IPtel as the Business Manager for the regional territory covering Indo-China markets,such as Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam. Before IPtel, Victor was part of the Networking & Engineering Team inFDS Network for 7 years.
Victor acquired a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering (Communications) from University of Sheffield,UK.

Topic: Sec Ops in Today’s AI and Digital World
Kelvin Chua is Fortinet’s Regional Director for Systems Engineering covering Southeast Asia & Hong Kong. As a security and networking industry veteran, Chua has more than 25 years’ experience in systems engineering, sales and business development across Asia Pacific. He has special expertise in cyber security incident management, breach detection and ethical hacking.
At Fortinet, Chua leads a team of engineers to ensure optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and customer requirements. He will also provide technical direction and assist country sales leaders in business development.
In his career, Chua has regularly supported his sales teams to exceed their business and customer satisfaction objectives. He has served as APAC systems engineering director at Blue Coat Systems, and before that, in Allied Telesis’s networking companies in a variety of engineering and technical consulting roles over a long period. Other companies Chua has worked at include Symantec and Check Point Software.
Chua holds a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) degree from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Topic: Cyber Defamation: A brief overview
Yuen Fong graduated a BA (Hons) Law & Economics (UK) in 1994 and was called to the English bar as a Barrister-At-Law (Middle Temple) in 1995. He was admitted to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in 1997. Yuen Fong is mainly invovled in construction and commercial litigation matters. Yuen Fong is also a fellow in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) since 2008 and is also a distinguished Arbitrator at the Borneo International Centre of Arbitration and Mediation and the Asian International Arbitration Centre. Further, Yuen Fong is an Accredited Adjudicator under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA). He is also on the International Panel of Arbitrators in the Chinese Arbitrators Association of Taiwan, the Hainan International Arbitration Court. He is also a Council Member of the recently established Borneo International Centre of Arbitration and Mediation.

Topic: AI in Cybersecurity: Past, Present, and Future
Dr. Tan Soo Fun holds a PhD in Network Security from Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is currently working as Senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at Universiti Malaysia Sabah and serves as the Head of the Network Engineering Program within the same faculty. Her extensive research interests encompass a wide range of areas, notably Cryptography, Information, and Network Security. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to academia, amassing an impressive portfolio of over 60 publications, including book chapters, journals, technical reports, and conference proceedings.
Dr. Tan Soo Fun's unwavering commitment to advancing her field is exemplified by her remarkable achievements. She recognized with the Woman in Tech Award at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final recently and secured the prestigious Gold and Best Paper Awards in various research and innovation competitions, including Innovation Development through Education Activities (iDEA) and the Research and Innovation Competition (PEREKA). She has also been received the Best Paper Award at The Fourth International Conference on Computational Science and Technology. Furthermore, she has successfully acquired national and international research grants in related domains.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Tan Soo Fun holds several professional certifications, including that of a certified IPv6 Network Engineer, certified IPv6 Security Engineer, Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP), and IBM Certified Academic Associate.
